Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jett is two years old and 75 pounds of love! You will quickly fall in love with his clumsy goofy personality. He is handsome with his soft shinny coat and pointy ears. Jett is a shepherd mix and may even have some retriever in him given his propensity to fetch and great dane given his size. He lives with his foster mom and several resident dogs and cats. Despite his size, Jett is easy to walk and manage. He has medium energy. He enjoys a leisurely stroll in the neighborhood sniffing along the way and greeting everyone. His play style with other dogs is vocal and rough, but he is always the first one to back down when things escalate. He follows commands like “sit,” “shake,” and “stay.” Jett is treat-motivated and a quick learner. He is house trained and nondestructive when left alone. Jett was abandoned by his family in a crate on the side of a road with bowl, food, a note saying they were evicted and could no longer care for him. He was brough into a local shelter euthanizing for space and in no time, Jett was on the dreaded E list before his foster mom saved him. She recognized his sweet demeanor and knew he was a gem! Jett wants nothing more than to have a family again. He loves to lean on you for affection or nap by your desk when you are working. He is excellent company on car rides. We have not observed him around younger kids, but he has done well with younger teens. Age: 2 years Weight: 75 lbs Vetting: neutered, up to date on vaccines, HW negative, and on prevention. Temperament: Good with kids, good with other dogs and cats. Training: House-trained, crate-trained.
