RESCUE STORY - I wasn't always homeless but when my hooman got really sick, my family couldn't take care of me anymore. I was brought to La Casa del Mestizo shelter, located in Mexico City, quite hungry and in need of exercise. I didn't really go on walks with my family even though I do love them! I started making new friends at the shelter and I love to play with other dogs, no matter how big or small they are. I am super friendly and very affectionate with hoomans and just love, LOVE! I am looking for a new family where I can feel love and I'll be furever faithful to you. My favorite snacks are chicken, apples, and carrots. Yum!

TEMPERAMENT - I'm very friendly and my favorite things to play with are plastic bottles! I like to hide the fun bottles in my kennel where I sleep with my best doggy friend. Despite sleeping with the door open, I prefer to sleep inside my kennel.
ENERGY LEVEL - Moderate. I have average energy and love to relax and take naps. I usually go to bed at 9 pm!
GETS ALONG WITH:
- Kids – Unknown
- As with ALL dogs, I should be supervised around children. My humans need to advocate for my space and make sure I'm respected :)
- Dogs – Yes! I get along with all the doggies at the shelter, big and small.
- Cats – Unknown
PREY DRIVE - Unknown. I’m not too sure how I’ll react around cats/squirrels/rabbits etc. My adopter needs to be prepared and willing to train me through these behaviours, should they arise.
TRAINING:
- I like my space during mealtime, even though all my friends are eating their own food, I don't want to share my and prefer to eat alone.
- Leash skills – I love walking and I'm good on a leash.
- House trained – Yes I know to go when it's time for my walk.

- NOTE: It is not uncommon for rescue dogs to require dental work/cleaning after they are adopted. West Coast Paws does not cover the costs of dental work and/or vet visits. These costs are the financial responsibility of the adopter.
ADOPTION FEE:
- My adoption fee is $840.00 CAD including tax (5% GST, 7% PST), which includes my airfare, if a flight volunteer is found directly to Vancouver.
