BUDDY, a 6 year old Boxer mix was surrendered to our pound when neighbors complained that he was allowed to wander and trampled in their gardens. His former owner didn't believe in tying him up or putting him on a leash so BUDDY was surrendered to us instead. BUDDY is a great dog and while he may not know it, his owner did him a big favor. BUDDY was an outside dog who slept in the barn at night so now, he will get the opportunity to live inside with a family. BUDDY is the sweetest boy who is very affectionate. He loves people and will be your shadow. He is good with kids and other dogs. We don't know about cats. Because BUDDY lived outside and isn't housebroken, he has been taking part in the Cell Dog Training Program and the Belmont Correctional Institution in neighboring Belmont County where he is learning basic commands and housebreaking. He already is well-behaved and walks like a true gentleman on a leash. BUDDY is available for adoption while he is training.
