Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Isabella is a sensitive sweetheart who is looking for a family who will go at her pace! She came to the shelter as a stray and needs additional socialization and exposure to all the normal doggy things.
Isabella spent some time in a foster home- as expected, she was nervous, but she did decompress during her time in that home and even chose to sleep near her foster person at night. Isabella was housebroken after the first few days and was working on crate training; she can be anxious when left alone, so continued crate training will be important in her future home. We also learned that Isabella LOVES squeezy cheese!
Isabella has endeared herself to many volunteers at the shelter with her cautious yet curious and silly personality. Here’s what one of her friends said:
“Isabella is such a funny, goofy little girl. She still isn’t sure about getting too many pets from people, but she is curious, playful, and interactive. In a play yard she’ll happily chase her human friends around, coming close and play bowing before darting away. She makes me laugh every time. She definitely needs time to feel safe with people, but it’s so fun to see her personality shining. She may not be a cuddler, but she’ll bring a lot of happiness to the right family!!”
Isabella has shared her kennel with a variety of roommates and would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. If you can help this shy sweetheart, please ask to meet her today!
