Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
COURTESY LISTING FOR ANOTHER RESCUE! Please contact the San Diego County Animal Shelter, 5821 Sweetwater Road, Bonita, CA 91902. The shelter is open for animal viewing Tue-Fri from 1 pm to 3:30 pm and Sat-Sun from 10 am until 3:30 pm. You can also meet him at other times by scheduling an appointment at (619)767-2675. Be sure to mention Leo's ID number, which is A1917413.
Leo is a neutered red and white Siberian Husky mix. He is nearly two years old and weighs 74 lbs. He tells us that his life would be perfect if only he had four things: a family, some toys to toss around, a swimming pool (or at least a kiddie pool), and some food! This low-maintenance fellow can entertain himself night and day with some good rubber toys to chew and pounce on and a swimming pool for dips on warm days.
Leo knows basic doggie commands like sit and come and is eager to learn more, especially if his training sessions include treats! He does his best to be house-trained despite living in a shelter kennel. He takes treats gently from his handler's hand and walks like a gentleman on his leash, keeping an eye on his handler. And despite his outwardly independent spirit, inside that gorgeous fur, he is a big teddy bear; he loves to give and get affection anytime, anywhere.
You can meet Leo at the San Diego County Animal Shelter North Campus, 2481 Palomar Airport Road, Carlsbad, CA 92011. The shelter is open for animal viewing Tue-Fri from 1 to 3:30 pm and Sat-Sun from 10 am until 3:30 pm. You can also meet him at other times by scheduling an appointment at (619)767-2675.
