My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This adorable cutesy pup is Finn, a mixed breed boy (Dog Scanner app suggests Rat Terrier, English Pointer and Toy Fox Terrier possibly in the mix) that was brought to the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 5/28 as a stray. Finn is about 5 months old and weighs 38 pounds. And oh, those ears!! He walks well on a leash and is a high energy youngster. He jumps on you continually in his excitement and manners training would definitely help him fit in better with his forever family. Finn would seem best suited for a person or family with an active lifestyle that would give him plenty of playtime, exercise and enrichment. He wasn`t much interested in toys or balls. What interested him most was the receiving of treats! He is so treat-motivated that it might be fairly easy to teach him some commands with the enticement of some yummy treats. He is friendly and has such a sweet nature and is good with receiving loving attention. He would not be suited as a yard dog. He needs to live inside with his people and be an integral part of their lives.
