This devilishly handsome guy would do best in a home with a big backyard so he can run around and get out his energy. He's a big jumper and a strong guy, so going to a home with no small children is recommended.
During playgroup, he is definitely a BIG boy, but he was actually kinda silly. He played one on one with a female dog, and he came on a little strong at first, but he remained appropriate. He seemed to enjoy interacting with her because she is confident and fun. He was relatively lowkey and genteel.
Once he gets his initial burst of energy out from being in the kennel all day, he is very easily food motivated and seemed to want to appease his human. He was happy to work for treats and pay attention to the volunteer to show off his sit and down skills. He will lean in for booty scratches and has the most heart-warming smile.
If you're interested in learning more about him, please reach out to our volunteer matchmakers at wcac.matchmaker@gmail.com with the subject line "Ricky 248966".
He is up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention, is microchipped, and will be neutered prior to going home. If you have dogs or cats, we recommend slow introductions over time. If you have children in your home, we recommend supervision between animals and children at all times. Primary Color: Grey Secondary Color: White Weight: 57 Age: 7yrs 2mths 2wks
