My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

UPDATE FROM FOSTER 6/24/24 - Brisa is a beautiful soul, she is gentle and extremely low maintenance. She is settling in wonderfully with a busy household of 5 dogs, 2 cats and farm animals. She is still adjusting to her new life since arriving from a Mexico, she is only taken outside on a lead as we feel like she would bolt if she became afraid. She is learning leash manners quickly. She is fully potty trained even when left alone for a few hours, is not destructive and we have yet to hear a noise from her even when the other dogs are barking. She is very shy and has a difficult time being taken to new areas, which is understandable since she has not fully decompressed from her journey to Canada. She requires a gentle hand and someone who understands that she has much trauma that manifests as being scared in new areas, She enjoys quiet areas outside, will do her business but then wants to go back inside. She spent all of her time in Mexico in an outdoor run and not very well socialized with people. She does good with cats and other dogs, she would benefit from having another furry companion. She would do well in a home with a yard where she isn't required to go for long walks or interact with strangers, however it is amazing what the right home can do for any dog.

Brisa is a lovely girl who is going to be a pefect "sit and chill" dog!  Brisa is now about 1 year old and fully grown at 40lbs.

Brisa was rescued in Chapala, Mexico, and is now local in BC (Fraser Valley). She is available for meet and greets!
