My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB 2/3/24
Dorito is a chip off the old block, sweet like her mother and other relatives. She is affectionate and has a fierce purr that will warm your heart when she produces it during back scratches and belly rubs. Dorito likes to cuddle on a lap, under a chin, and in the bed when she's happy and tired. She loves people and being held. Dorito is playful and a speedy runner. Her favorite toys are plastic springs and shoestrings. She joined the family after being spayed. She will need another cat to play with so a home with a youngish cat would be ideal.
-$125 adoption fee per kitten.

Hardest part of rescue is:
- Not being able to save every cat.
- Finding excellent homes for our rescues.

Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit.
