Max has a story to tell.. he lived the first 3 years of his life since he was a puppy alone in a junk yard outside in the Texas heat. His owner used him as a "guard dog." But Max is a kind, gentle dog who only wants to be loved. He was painfully lonely. 💔
A good samaritan asked his owner if she could take him & give him a better life. The owner, who Max was obviously afraid of, refused.
Max ended up with a tumor on the side of his face. He suffered with that for many months. Only then did the owner agree to give him up. The good samaritan took him directly to the vet & Max was placed on preoperative antibiotics. Thankfully, the biopsy came back negative for cancer. His tumor removal surgery was scheduled April 30th. He's now 2 & a half weeks post-op & recovering very well.
Max's rescuer/angel/hero lives in a place where most people regard dogs as objects. She has saved many dogs already, & there are many more waiting for her help. Her home is overfull & her heart is too. ❤️🩹 Max is now in need of the loving forever home he so deserves.
