I pray that my Forever Family has a dog . I find comfort, confidence and security with another dog by my side. I rely on them to teach and entertain me! I love to play-wrestle (w/fun growls), tug-of-war and Zoomies! I like all toys ~ chew toys are my fave!
I'd be good in a Family with an older child who is engaged and wants to be w/me. My Foster Family has a cat but he isn't very friendly. I just want to chase him any time I get the chance. I'm not sure if I want a cat sibling but if they were friendly, I might be ok?
I'm the PERFECT Walk-Buddy! I'm enthusiastic to head out on a walk. My Secret Super Power is that I "heel" naturally ~ adjusting my pace to my human. I don't pull nor do I like to be pulled. I let my human lead the way!
I am very shy. My M.O. is to flee if I feel threatened. If I back away, I just need time to feel safe. BUT….once you've earned my Trust, I'll be Yours to the Core! You'll know you've won me over by the look of pure adoration I'll give you.
I do very well w/positive reinforcement and I'm eager to please. I'm agile & athletic, loving my walks but also enjoy chilling out.
I let my humans know when I need to go out. My Foster Family is very helpful by ensuring I'm let out after meals plus first thing in the morning and right before bed.
I'm new to spending time in a kennel, so we'd need to work on that. If you've been away, I'm SO excited when you return. I do a little "body wiggle to let you know I missed you! If I get a bit insecure, I may back away while still doing my wiggly thing….so cute!
