Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Callie is one of our longest residents at the shelter and is long over due to find a loving home. She has the most cuddliest disposition, but gets overlooked time and time again.
With full disclosure, her kennel presence is awful and she needs some work. Callie is very stressed in the shelter and we have no doubt that she would be an entirely different dog in a quiet and comfortable environment.
Callie, like some of the other amazing dogs in the shelter, is very dog reactive. She is looking for her unicorn family that doesn't have any other animals. Callie is all you would need to complete your family though. If a playful spirit, endless kisses and cuddles is what you're looking for, Callie is perfect. She does come with a warning Callie does flop down in front of you while you are walking to show her belly and demand pets
We have no doubt that she will prove herself to be a faithful friend until the very end.
Callie is up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, spayed, 2 years old and is a pint sized 45lbs.
Callie is available for adoption or rescue at Isle of Wight Animal Services 757-365-6318.
Please share her far and wide to help her find her furever home.

Additional adoption info
To view the adoptable animals you must schedule an appointment by calling 757-365-6318.
Dogs & Puppies are $90, Cats & Kittens are $75 and all other companion animals are $25 unless stated differently.
Those fees include:
• Spay/Neuter
• Vaccinations & deworming (including Rabies shot)
• and Heartworm testing for dogs
The cost for this medical care at local veterinary offices would easily exceed $200.00.
An application must be filled out at the shelter and approved before adopting one of our pets.
If you rent, live in a mobile home community, or in military housing, we need to speak to your landlord see a copy of your lease. To speed the process, please have a copy of your lease when finalizing.
As appropriate, for dog adoption you may be required to bring your current dog for a “Meet-n-Greet” prior to adopting your new dog. Please bring a paper copy of their rabies certificate(s), not the ID tag, for the meeting with our shelter dog.
