I am Looking For: My loving forever family! Hi! I'm Lathe. I won’t ask for much- just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play.

What the Cafe Says About Me: Lathe has the build of an athletic tiger and is quite vocal. He will meow at you, and we're sure he's trying to tell us something… He’s pretty friendly, and right now prefers the quieter areas of the cafe. He would thrive in a chill home where he can meow at you while you're trying to read or watch TV. He doesn't play too often with the other cats, but he isn't bothered by them, either, so he should do fine in a home alone or with other cats.

What the Shelter Says About Me: Lathe is your personal mountain lion— just waiting to roam the trails in your home. At the rescue's Cat Playroom, he likes to find a high perch were he can calmly observe what is going on and if it is interesting he will come down and join the fun. Otherwise, he might just reserve his energy and take a nap! But Lathe does love to be held! Heads-up though, he is a big boy and an armful / lapful. Not much gets by this sweet boy— he knows when it is time for dinner and makes sure we are cooking his favorite meals and he will reward us with lots of love and purrs. He looks stern but is gentle and easy going & will keep his home under close watch.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The adoption process begins when you submit an adoption application either online or at an adoption event. The individual responsible for the dog you are interested in adopting - a position we call the “adoption coordinator” - will then set up a time to discuss your application over the telephone. The adoption coordinator will check your vet reference to make sure all current and past pets were kept up-to-date with their shots and medical care. The adoption coordinator will also set up a home visit with one of our trained volunteers. That individual will come to your home to ensure that it is a safe environment, to confirm that everyone in the home is on board with adopting a dog, and to discuss any other questions you may have about dog adoption!

Our adoption events are held each weekend. A schedule of times and locations can be found at www.luckydoganimalrescue.org.
