Starshine was rescued from an abandoned house as a pregnant mother cat in early May of 2024. She has beautiful tortoiseshell markings, especially those on her face and neck! The orange streak down her nose kind of reminds us of a shooting star and she has a lovely patch of orange fur on her chest! Starshine is an adult cat of probably around 3 or 4 years old. She likes to eat wet food and loves to get attention from people! Starshine is one of the friendliest cats that we've had in our care and she does GREAT when meeting complete strangers too, which isn't necessarily typical of most cats! For all that she has recently been through, she has adjusted very quickly and well! She has a good attitude about life and her overall circumstances. Unfortunately, this cat has had litter after litter in her life and she is ready to retire from that lifestyle! She is currently raising her last kitten and will be ready to be adopted out to her forever home June 25th! Starshine is great with other cats and kittens and also fine with cat-friendly dogs. Starshine would also be fine as an only pet because she is very people-centered and she prefers to get all of the love and attention that she can from people! Starshine will have been spayed, will be up to date on vaccines, dewormed, flea treated, FIV/FeLV/HW tested negative, and microchipped at her time of adoption! Interested adopters can submit an application by contacting HobosHome2020@yahoo.com or by sending us a message and we will send you the necessary form!
