My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, I’m Willow, a 2-year-old Pit Bull with a heart as warm as my brown and white fur. I’m a dainty 40 pounds, spayed, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. I love children and get along with other dogs. I have not been cat tested but can be if you’d like.

I have a past that’s a bit rough around the edges – I was one of 50 dogs in a hoarding case. A nice lady was trying to help stray dogs off the streets and things quickly got out of hand. Growing up without adequate socialization, I’m learning to trust and love the human touch. I’m the timid one of the bunch, still quite scared, but I know there’s a family out there who can help me find my confidence. If you have a calm and confident dog that could show me the ropes, that would be wonderful!

I’m likely housebroken since I keep my kennel clean, and I’m ready to learn all about being the perfect house dog. I’m staying in Smyrna, TN, but for a family who can offer me a gentle hand and a loving home, I can be transported to other states. Will you be my forever family?
