Activity Preference: Low maintenance overall but needs quality outside time., other: Loves to play fetch outside. Just not for a long time.

IQ: Smart

Charlie Rose's favorite things: She loves Belly rubs. Sometimes will not come out of bed without them. She also loves to play fetch outside with her pink spikey ball. She enjoys chew toys and her stuffed lama.

Charlie Rose is good at: meeting people, staying in a crate, going for car rides, making me feel safe, walking on a leash, cuddling, playing

Health issues: Sometimes she seems to have poor eye site. She has seasonal allergies that can be easily kept in check with baths and avoiding chicken.

Meet Charlie Rose

Charlie Rose aka Chubby Bunny is the best friend you could ask for. She wants to be with her people and will shadow you all over the house. She is happy sleeping on her bed, chewing her bone or playing ball in the yard. In typical bulldog fashion she can be a bit sassy and stubborn and will talk back to you when she has something to say. She is a huge fan of taking baths and riding in the car. She loves any adventure as long as she is with you. Because she loves her people so much she does not want to share and would be best in a single dog household. She is crate trained, great on a leash and will wait patiently and politely for her meals. Some of her favorite food include blueberries and eggs.

PLEASE READ: Adopters will not be considered without completing an application. Please visit www.AmericanBulldogRescue.org to apply! Remember - Adoption is always the best option! If you can't help by adopting a homeless pet, please consider making a tax-deductible donation to American Bulldog Rescue, 4 Terry Drive, Suite 1D Newtown, PA 18940 or paypal AmericanBulldogRescue@verizon.net. We cannot place dogs in homes with children under 10 unless that dog has lived with kids or is in a foster home with kids. Thank you.

To be considered for adoption, you must apply using our free, online application. Our dogs are fostered in our volunteers' homes, not in a central shelter/location. Only approved applicants are put into contact with the foster family to setup a meeting with the foster dog. Visit our Adoption Policies web page for more information and a link to our application: http://americanbulldogrescue.org/adoption-policies/.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

To adopt one of our love-a-bull dogs, you must submit an application on our website at www.americanbulldogrescue.org. Applications must meet minimum requirements (policies are listed our site). Applicants have their vet and personal references checked . The next step is a home visit by one of our volunteers. Finally, the applicant will be put in touch with the foster family to arrange to meet the dog! If a happy match is made, the applicants sign an adoption contract and provide an adoption donation. The donation is usually $400.

Go meet their pets

Adoption events will be posted on our Facebook page. Our foster dogs live in homes with our volunteers. We do not have a facility where interested people can visit the dogs. If you are interested in meeting any of our dogs, please submit an adoption application available on our website.
