Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Oslo has quite the story for you! A nice couple had been feeding a stray cat for a while, when all of a sudden this cat dropped her teenage kittens off at their house! They needed some help getting mom and teens fixed so that’s when they reached out to us. Originally these 3 teens were slated for TNR and to be released back to their colony, but they were young and weren’t completely feral so we decided to take a chance on socializing them. It has been a long journey to get to this point, but they are now all friendly, cuddly cats who are looking for their forever homes (or have been adopted already)!
Oslo is a sweet black and white kitty who will need a patient adopter while he becomes comfortable with his new surroundings. He is now okay with getting picked up, but it has taken us months to get to this point, and he may be skittish with someone new. He used to only eat under the couch, but now he’s the first one to scream at his foster mom for food every morning! He loves to cuddle with his foster momma on the couch and has even been following her into the bedroom at night for extra cuddles.
He’s been okay with the other cats in his foster’s home, nudging up against them or trying to initiate play! He hasn’t been around children or dogs, and we think he would do best a quiet home with older, or no kids.
Please see our rescue information for our adoption fees or email us at billythekiddenrescue@gmail.com.
‼️Help control the pet population - have your pets spayed or neutered! 💯

We have an adoption application to learn a bit about the home our cats will be going to and the family's motivation for adoption and expectations about pet ownership. We also have an adoption contract, which includes a no declawing and indoor-only clause along with a vet promissory note that ensures you will continue with the medical care and spay/neuter if needed.
We DO NOT do any out of state adoptions except on the NC border on a case-by-case basis.
We require a donation of $120 for adoption of unaltered kittens with a PTV Contract. All kittens receive vaccine series and wormings as well as medical treatment as needed. The adopter is responsible for obtaining their rabies vaccine and spay/neuter if the kitten is not of age at the time of adoption. We can provide resources for low cost clinics that offer these services.
We ask a donation of $25 to adopt Career/barn cats.
We require a donation of at least $140 for adoption of Spayed/neutered cat.
Bonded pairs adoption donation is $200.
Sometimes we require rental checks or home inspections. We always have a Meet n Greet to make sure everyone gets along. We encourage bringing the whole family!

More about this rescue
Our mission is to improve the lives of displaced cats and reduce feral cat population in Hampton Roads by socializing outdoor-born and feral kittens for adoption into loving forever homes. We are a VDACS registered 501c3 nonprofit, founded in 2014 with over 60 foster homes.
Our heart is in TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return of ferals), where cats are fixed, vaccinated, ear tipped, and allowed to live out their lives without reproducing. We are advocates for advancing legal and social acceptance of TNR in Hampton Roads. Our unique feral kitten socialization program has a 90% success rate in socializing feral-born kittens to become loving, in-home pets.
We are always seeking fosters, volunteers, transporters, and trappers to join our team!
We also appreciate donations! Find our most needed items
