My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Isaiah, I’ve been calling him Little Man affectionately and Isiah when he being trained. He’s timid & extremely sweet. Everybody fell in love with him at the Vet.
The guy would had them apparently had a hidden life behind closed doors
The place was in shambles and the dogs were living in deplorable conditions.
He was a hoarder, and the dogs were shitting and pissing everywhere.
They were eating, moldy bread, pizza and whatever else fell on the floor.

He got a Rabies vaccination & bloodwork.
His mouth is a mess, he‘s that’s severe periodontal disease, and everything needs to come out. He will try and save the canines so his tongue won’t stay hanging out of his mouth.
His bloodwork came back so far positive for Lyme, so he just started on Doxycycline. And, he’s gonna be on it for 30 days and then needs to be tested.

I have two other dogs he goes to the bathroom with them outside. But I wouldn’t call him housebroken. He wouldn’t go through the doggy door to go out but he will come in.
He’s definitely been inside most of his life. (So how he has Lymes make’s no sense)
When I can’t be with him I keep him in a crate. I take him out every 30 mins. If he doesn’t go to the bathroom then he goes back in.
He gets tons of love when he’s out. And he definitely loves the attention and affection. It’s apparent that there’s been a shortage of that in his life.

More about this rescue

IMPS attempts to assist Miniature Pinschers in need by providing foster care, transport, adoptive homes, veterinary care, and other services and information for the well-being of Miniature Pinschers. All Miniature Pinschers placed through IMPS will be spayed or neutered prior to placement, and have been thoroughly evaluated by a breed representative for temperament and training needs. IMPS requires reimbursement of all necessary veterinary costs (eg. the cost of the spay/neuter, microchipping, and any veterinary care required prior to placement), and in some instances, travel costs. A donation to the organization is requested with each adoption so that we may continue to care for chronically ill and/or severely injured foster dogs. In all cases, any expenses related to the adoption will be agreed upon prior to placement. While the Adoption expenses may be negotiable for some dogs, please remember that the care and upkeep of a dog, even the "King of Toys", requires some financial outlay, and if a small placement expense is beyond your means, you may wish to consider a pet which does not require as much care as the Miniature Pinscher.
