My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mouse is a female domestic short hair with beautiful white and gray markings. She was originally planned to be a part of our TNR Program, a trap-spay-release community cat. However, following her spay surgery, we realized she was social and wanted a chance to find her furever home.

We estimate her birth month to around May 2023.  She is spayed, has her rabies and FVRCP vaccines, and was combo tested negative for Fel/FELV and vaccinated accordingly.

Still a bit shy, she has really come to life in her short time in foster care. She loves following the resident cat, Curtis, around and will take his lead when exploring her foster home. She loves pets and attention from humans, and finds the time she gets with them special. We believe with a home of love and patience, she'll be a purrfect cat and addition to your home.

We believe she will be happiest with another cat in the home, so those applicants will be prioritized.

Playdates will only be scheduled for approved applicants to protect the safety of our cats and foster families. Adoptions are matched based on best fit, not who applied for a particular cat first. Adoptions are not considered finalized until an adoption contract has been completed and the adoption fee has been paid to Windsor Kittens.

More about this rescue

Windsor Kittens got its start in 2022 when four women in the Windsor Park neighborhood of east Charlotte, NC came together to address the large number of community cats in their area. Since then, this grassroots organization has expanded its efforts to rescue more cats for adoption and help greater numbers of community cats through trap-spay/neuter-vaccinate-release (TNR). Windsor Kittens loves helping cats find their forever homes.
