My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sidney came into my care when his previous owner developed some major health problems. He was loved to the moon and back and it was a difficult decision to surrender him to my care, but ultimately, the right move for both Sidney and his Mom.

Fortunately, Sidney lives in the moment and adapts immediately to his new surroundings. He’s a joyful wee fellow that doesn’t demand a lot of care, he’s just happy to be with you! He loves to play with squeakies and soft toys, and is active to the point you’d never believe he was 10….but his favorite thing is to snuggle next to you on the sofa, often on his back with legs akimbo!


He loves to play with other dogs large and small and lives and sleeps with 5 cats….he loves to clean their bowls after they have eaten…no dishwasher required!


Walks well on a leash, neutered and up to date on all shots, flea meds and heartworm, this guy is just missing his new parents and would do well with a retired couple who could lavish him with love 💕
