My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Max is a 2 year old Black lab/terrier mix boy. He is sweet but has lots of energy and needs a yard to run and play in. He gets along with other dogs, cats and humans. Older children would be fine but he is too energetic for little ones and might bump into them.

He is house trained, up to date on vaccines and neutered. He pulls a little on his leash but is working with a trainer who will give his new owner some updates on how to keep him walking slower and looking at his human. The Trainer will also help him acclimate to his new home. To adopt this wonderful boy please do our non-obligatory application at www.pawsandprayers.org . Our primary mission is to rescue, care for, and find loving homes for homeless cats and dogs. Our secondary goal is to make sure all of these animals are spayed or neutered. It is a big task, but we are ready! Paws and Prayers is based in the Northeast Ohio region. We operate as a non-profit, incorporated organization that functions solely on the efforts of foster homes and adoption volunteers.
