Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Bunny! This sweet girl is fluffy, gorgeous, and still looking for her forever home. She has fur as soft as a bunny and a shortened tail (just like her sister), but hers is super fluffy. Bunny likes to hang back and do her own thing. She's quite content observing the goings on outside the window and loves to observe. She's the yin to her sister's yang- she is long-haired and more shy, while her sister is short-haired and confident. These ladies have seen some stuff and Rose especially needs a person that will allow her the time needed to transition into a new home and environment. Once she does, she'll blossom and let you know how appreciative she is. Her sister (Miss Mittens) is a great source of comfort for her sister, so they will need to be adopted as a stunningly beautiful pair. Bunny and Mittens get along with other kitties and dogs- they love to play and chase down the hallway! If you have a heart for kitties that really need a chance and someone to show them that life- and people- can be as beautiful as they are, then these lovely sisters are for you!
BACKSTORY: She was rescued along with her sister from a citizen who put out a desperate plea on Facebook; she was being forced to either take them to a shelter or let them loose outside. She found them as tiny kittens huddled together in her driveway one rainy night, so she pulled them inside. The thought of them trying to fend for themselves again was heartbreaking, so a loving foster stepped up to help them. Both have shortened tails, though this does not impact them in any way- they are very healthy girls, just with shorter tails.
NOTE: WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN LA-BASED FOSTER HOME FOR THEM- if you've ever wanted to try it, let us know!
Birthdate: 7/20/23
Interested in adopting? Please visit our website at www.thecatsmeowanimalrescue.org to fill out an application. One application covers all cats and kittens staying at our Petco locations, and those in individual foster homes.

Questions? Email us at info@thecatsmeowanimalrescue.org or reach out on Instagram: @thecatsmeowanimalrescue
1. Submit an adoption application at www.thecatsmeowanimalrescue.org
2. If you have not yet met the cat(s) you wish to adopt, come to an adoption event or schedule a foster home visit to meet the cat(s). Please note that we cannot schedule any private foster home visits until you submit an application.
3. If your application is approved, we will contact you within a week to schedule a home visit. One of our experienced volunteers will stop by your home to ensure that you are able to provide a safe and nurturing environment for the cat. We may also provide tips for integrating the cat into your home environment.
4. We ask for a minimum tax-deductible donation* of $225.00 for each cat you adopt from us. Donations may be made online (via a secure PayPal transaction) or in-person via cash or check. If you are adopting a pair of kitties, the donation is $200.00 each ($400.00 total).
*Additional donations are highly encouraged, as they enable us to rescue another cat from the shelter or the streets. Because our organization is a non-profit run entirely by volunteers, we rely solely on donations to continue rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming abandoned and neglected cats.
5. We will have you sign an Adoption Agreement detailing the terms of the adoption at the time you collect your new kitty. You may view a copy of it on our website.
6. That’s it! You will communicate with the cat’s foster parents to coordinate pick-up. Please always transport your cat in a carrier for safety.
7. We will email or mail you a copy of your Adoption Agreement, a letter confirming your donation, and medical records and microchip information. This usually takes about 2 weeks.
In addition to receiving individualized medical care, we provide the following services to our cats: spay/neuter, microchip, testing for FELV/FIV, flea and dewormer treatments, and vaccinations.
