Happy 1 year old, female, German Shepherd/ Border collie mix.
UTD on all vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, and she is heartworm negative.
Happy is an active loving girl. Happy is receiving basic obedience training with our
Certified dog trainer at the shelter. Happy is a sweet, loving girl, and would do great in a home with other dogs and with children. At this point in her training, her trainer does not recommend her to be in a home with a toddler because of how active she is. If adopted locally. Happy’s Trainer is still willing to continue basic obedience training with her for FREE, until all behavior goals are met.

More about this shelter

Bogalusa Animal Shelter is a city shelter. We are an all dog facility with 14 kennels. We are a small shelter that stays at max capacity full. The dogs that come through the shelter are picked up by animal control officer from the city streets, or have been abandoned neglected by previous owners. Our dogs at the shelter do receive basic obedience training from a certified dog trainer. They receive veterinarian care from a local veterinarian.
