Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Misu has been my loyal companion for over 12 years. I've had her since she was a puppy but now due to a new baby in our home plus caring for ill family members, I haven't been able to show her the same level of attention and care that I did when it was just us. Misu is mostly blind, but is still able to navigate the home fairly well after having some time to adjust. She is house-trained, but will have accidents if she isn't taken outside regularly or is under stress. With patience and care, Misu makes for great company on the couch watching your favorite shows, and especially loves sitting outside when the weather is nice.
It would be great if Misu lived in a 1 story home, or otherwise only had access to one floor, and would likely do better in a home without young kids since she is older and prefers to sleep/lounge most of the day. Ideally her new home would have access to a fenced in yard as well since she hasn't done well with leashed walks since she lost her sight.
