My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Kalani, a two year old German Shepherd weighing approximately 66lbs. Her name means "heavenly" which couldn't be more fitting for this beautiful girl. 😍

Kalani, or Kali for short, is always excited and eager to meet new friends which makes her super happy! Kali is a strong and playful girl who likes to rough house with the best of 'em so dogs her size or bigger would be ideal. We would recommend proper introductions with other dogs, as she is quite confident and may not read into the other dogs cues properly and may come across as dominant.

Kali loves kids but older kids would be better suited to her, only because she's strong and easily excitable.

Kali enjoys her walks and can sometimes pull when she's excited. With some guidance and training, Kali is sure to be an amazing walking partner. ☺️

She does well in her crate and doesn't mind being enticed with a treat or two. 😋 Once in her crate, she settles easily.

Kali's list of likes include water, car rides and exploring the outdoors. She would make an ideal companion for any person looking for a high energy pup. Even though she likes to be active, Kali treasures her sleep and usually wakes up when her people are up.

Kali isn't fond of thunderstorms so she definitely appreciates extra cuddles during this time. It took her a while to get used to mirrors until she learned to recognize her own gorgeous reflection. 😍 Stuffies are her favourite toys even though most need some sort of surgery for repair. 😁 Treats are also a big yes, especially the Blue Buffalo Chicken Wild Bites. 😋

Kalani is such an easygoing girl looking to find her forever home. Her pretty smile will have you hooked the moment you meet her. Apply today to meet this heavenly girl! 💗

**At this time, Kalani has not been tested with cats. She also has a slight prey drive so a home without chickens or bunnies would be best as she likes to chase.
