My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Pout!

Are you looking for a loving and loyal companion to share your home and heart with? Pout is a sweet and gentle senior cat who is ready to bring joy and warmth into your life. Pout, or Spoot Poot, as she’s more commonly known, or even sometimes Spoot Poot Toot Toot, will be your best work from home sidekick and snuggle buddy to fight the fall chill with together.

Pout came into foster as a pretty spicy lady. She was declawed as a youngster and then found herself in foster when she lost everything she had ever known and was thrust into an unfamiliar environment. However, after just a few weeks of love and support, she blossomed into the sweetest friend you could ask for with just enough remaining spice to keep things fresh.

Pout will thrive best in a quiet, adult-only home where she can relax and be the apple of your eye. She prefers to be the only pet so she can sleep uninterrupted between sessions investigating your kitchen supplies and watching the birds out the window. BUT, readers will be thrilled to know, that she has made so much progress during her stay in foster that she now could even go to a household with another, respectful, cat, given a slow introduction.

Like any old lady, Pout takes some medication. She has a daily potassium supplement with high blood pressure and adrenal gland medication, which have kept her healthy as an Ox. She can be easily given meds with her meals as she has yet to discover a food she doesn’t like.

This lovely lady is always eager to snuggle up and enjoy your company. She will delightfully curl up on your lap, purring contentedly. She loves to nuzzle her head into you and might even give you a gentle lick, as if she’s giving you a little bath. This gal has a way of nuzzling into your heart and becoming your new best friend.

In addition to being a wonderful cuddle companion, Pout enjoys sitting in the window, watching the world go by. She loves soaking up the sunshine and observing the birds and squirrels outside. This serene activity brings her a lot of joy and can keep her entertained for hours.

Pout is looking for a calm and loving home where she can spend her golden years feeling safe and cherished. She promises to return your kindness with endless purrs, cuddles, and her special brand of feline affection.

If you would like to meet Pout, please apply at the link below. She’s ready to share her heart and home with someone special. She is sure to be your loyal friend and an endless source of joy and comfort. If you’re someone who values the special bond that comes with adopting a senior cat, Pout might be the perfect match for you.

Additional adoption info

Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines.  We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion!

Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level.  This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here:
http://www.foreverfortunatefelines.org/adopt

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue.  Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day.  Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet.  We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier.  If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day.  If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home.  We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.  We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.

We have streamlined our adoption process to make it easy!  Everything from the application, to payment, to the contract is online.  Additionally, all of the cats records will be placed in your free Petlovers account at petstablished.com to keep organized.
