Meet Reese and say hello to the dog of the month! If you are looking for just a big, cuddly dog you can hug, Reese is your man! This sweet boy has waited far too long for a family. We have come to know him and have found that he is a mild-mannered, good ole boy who deserves a loving home with plenty to do. He enjoys walking, running, playing, kissing, and lounging around. He loves booty and belly rubs as well as treats and food. He will even “sit” for treats when commanded. Reese has done well with other dogs and loves having playmates although he is a bit much for smaller companions and not good with cats. He would do well with a lady friend of similar stature. Reese is doing well with potty training and listening to his person. The reality is Reese just needs a home and a family who appreciates his vulnerability where he can lay around and watch TV and also go outside and run! He is smart, teachable with a big love bug inside that beautiful brindle coat. He is doing much better not jumping on people to greet them with excitement and is still working on leash training. Like so many, his story is sad and unfair, but we are believing for a happy ending here. He is going to make a perfect house pet one day for the right home. Is that you?
