My story

Dexter was rescued from a high kill shelter in the nick of time - came into shelter as a stray. My neighbor saw that his time was up and went and picked him up. He was a little too wild after being in the shelter for three months to live in her condo with her 15 yr old dog. So I picked him up, but I already have three dogs and two cats of my own and I’m lining in a studio. I’m working with trainers to make sure Dexter learns manners and becomes a dog that is very manageable for his forever person or family. As I write this description, he is sitting next to me, cleaning another dog in a very loving way. He will make an incredible pet for the right person. He is very trainable. He seems to have had training in the past -he learns very quickly. He’s roughly 3 years old so he can relax and just watch TV with you as well. Here are the thing we are working on: reactivity in the car when he sees another dog outside the car, reactivity on leash when passing another dog, needs a high fence
