Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Honey came to our rescue on April 25, 2024, from the Lancaster Animal Shelter. The Shelter called us because Honey had been abandoned by her owners, was very friendly but also very pregnant. The vet says Honey is about 18 months old.
On April 28, Honey gave birth to three healthy kittens: Bea, Buzz, and Sting. We had a newborn single orphan, Dusty, so we added her as a fourth. To our joy, Honey immediately accepted Dusty and raised her as her own. To date, although none of the kittens are old enough to be separated from Honey, three of the four have been adopted. Bea and Dusty, two females, were adopted together, and Buzz will be the companion for a cat-friendly Great Dane.
We work with a lot of adult ferals, so it was a gift to get a mature cat that is already well socialized and playful. And since Honey and Sting are a bonded pair, it is our strong preference that they be adopted together and will adjust the adoption fee accordingly. The fee covers FIV/FeLV testing, deworming, vaccinations, and spay/neuter with a partner clinic.
Both Honey and Sting are completely litter trained. Honey is FIV/FeLV negative; we will test Sting when he is six weeks old. The kittens will be weaned and old enough to leave Honey at eight weeks old, so Honey and Sting will be available to leave for their adopting home the last week of June.
If you would like to visit with Honey and Sting, drop me a note at cherylsferalsandfosters@gmail.com or PM me. If you are considering adopting them, please fill out and submit the adoption contract found in The Adoption Process link on my website (cherylsferalsandfosters.com). In the meantime, you can follow their journey on Facebook: Cheryl’s Ferals and Fosters Chat Group. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3).
