My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cara was a sweet mama kitty to her kittens and is now ready to find her fur-ever home. A bit timid at first, Cara is very gentle and affectionate once she gets to know you and will even roll over for tummy rubs! Cara also loves to play- paper bags and mouse toys are her favorites! Cara would be happiest in a quiet, adult only home, or a home with older children (high school age or above) with a cat savvy person who will adore her cute personality.

Cara is a such a beautiful and loving girl! Please come see Cara and the other cats that are available at the PetSmart store in The District Shopping Center in Tustin (2237 Park Avenue). Adoptions are by appointment and on Saturdays from 1-3pm.

You can get pre-approved for your adoption! Visit our website and submit your application online: http://www.oc-arc.com/adoptions/how-to-adopt/

When you choose to adopt one of OCARC's animals, the adoption donation is $175. Each of our cats and kittens has been:

- Microchipped
- Spayed or neutered
- Tested for FeLV (Feline Leukemia)
- Tested for FIV (Feline Aids)
- De-flead (topical Revolution or Advantage)
- De-wormed (tape and round worms)
- Given their first FVRCP vaccination:

We keep all our kitties current on their FVRCP vaccines so depending on the age of the kitty when you adopt him or her and how long we've had the kitty, the vaccine series may be complete. If not, you as the adopter will be responsible for any further vaccinations in the series.

- Rabies Vaccination when age appropriate

These services would usually cost more than $500. Of course, an adoption donation of more than $175 is always welcome, since we often provide additional medical care such as x-rays, blood panels, treatment for ears, eyes, upper respiratory infections and viruses.
