Meet Handsome Teddy: The Happy Young Hound Mix Who’s Ready for His Forever Home!

Teddy’s Story: Teddy was rescued from a sad situation: he was tied outside in freezing weather. Thankfully, a compassionate neighbor stepped in and got AWHAR involved. Teddy has since been thriving in his foster home, where he’s surrounded by other dogs and is living his best life.

Personality: Sweet, friendly, and smart

Friendly and Loving: Teddy adores other dogs and people. He’s great with kids and is particularly fond of female dogs.
Smart and Fun: Teddy is not just a sweetie; he’s also smart and could be a circus dog with his intelligence and playful nature.

To Do All We Can to Aid in the Rescue, Safety and Welfare of Stray and Abandoned Animals to end as much suffering as possible.

We realize we cannot save the world … but we can try by working with each rescued animal on an individual basis.

Go meet their pets

Because we are not a shelter, do not have a boarding facility, and are not connected with any other agency, we always welcome foster homes where animals can stay temporarily. We also welcome all tax-deductible donations from individuals or foundations.
No donation is too small.

A Welcome Home Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit created to help the homeless, hurt and/or abandoned animals. Our end goal is to place each animal in a permanent, loving home where all their needs will be met. We believe every animal deserves humane treatment. We believe in our role as caretakers, protecting those who cannot defend themselves, speaking for those who cannot speak for themselves.
