Ricky was brought in by our Humane Law Enforcement Team on 3/5/2024.

At SDHS:
Ricky has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He is now ready for his new home!

He's got a spirit that's both adventurous and self-reliant, making him an excellent companion for those who appreciate a canine friend with a bit of autonomy. Ricky's hobbies include investigating every nook and cranny of his environment, taking leisurely walks at his own pace, and mastering the art of napping in the sunniest spots. He's also a quick learner, always eager to pick up new tricks and commands. Despite his independent streak, Ricky has a heart full of love to give and is fiercely loyal to those he trusts. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.
