Milo is the total package! He's handsome, smart and athletic - what else could you want in your best friend? He's about 1 year old, and about 42 pounds, so he's a nice medium size. He knows his basic commands and listens very well, especially if you have treats. He LOVES treats. His coat is an amazing fawn with subtle merle coloring - it's very unique.
Milo was surrendered because his original family worked long hours and he was in a crate all day. Being a young energetic dog, this wasn't fair to him. He then had a foster home for a bit, but the resident dog decided she didn't want Milo around, so he is back in boarding again. He probably doesn't understand why he's back there since he is such a good boy.
Aside from some regular exercise, Milo would love a home where he could work on puzzles and do other things to stimulate his brain. He is so smart - one of the volunteers noticed he was even trying to open a door all on his own! He is friendly with other dogs, so can have some dog siblings too. He's pretty much perfect, so come meet him today!

*Adoption fee of $200 includes microchip, neuter, and vaccines.

We have an application process, a yard check, a meet and greet with any existing animals, and a contract. Our adoption fees are anywhere from $150 - $300 depending on the age of the animal and the amount of medical treatment we provided for the animal prior to going up for adoption. We also have a Senior for Seniors program where we offer a significant discount to any senior citizen wishing to adopt a dog or cat over the age of 7.
We serve Las Vegas, Nevada and Henderson, Nevada. We may adopt to a neighboring state, however we do not transport our animals. The adopter must come to Las Vegas to meet the animal prior to adoption.
