My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bon Bon is a female Pekingese mix born in 2022. She is current on age appropriate vaccines & microchipped. Her spay appointment is scheduled.

Bon Bon truly prefers to be with her people. She can be anxious & uneasy in new environments but with reassurance & consistency, she does settle down. She is always at your feet, helping you with your daily tasks & cheering you on. She gets along with other dogs, all sized humans & we are unsure how she is with cats. She doesn't show too much interest in playing with toys or other dogs. She is working on potty training & will need continued leash/harness practice. She will need to go to a home with a secured, attached yard with a wall that she can't climb. She is a loyal companion with so much to offer!

Please complete an adoption application at www.pathwaysforpaws.com & you will be contacted within 48hrs if your application fits her current needs.

Additional adoption info

In some circumstances, meeting the dog and a home check are done at the same time if the dog is ready to be adopted. We do have conversation with potential adopters prior to them meeting the dog. If they are interested in adopting a puppy who is not ready for adoption (not altered, not UTD, etc) they are able to put a hold on the pup until ready for adoption.

More about this rescue

Pathways for Paws was founded in October 2019. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, animal welfare organization.

Our mission is to make spay/neuter & vaccinations affordable to those in our communities. By achieving this, we will help prevent the neglect & abuse of dogs. All dogs in our care are spay/neutered, given the age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before going to their FURever families.

We work with rescues & fellow animal advocates to continue growing a network of volunteers and supporters.
