When you look up the Guava fruit, it says it can be sweet, acidic, or both. Well the same can be said about our little Guava. She needs someone who loves a good challenge, because that's what she is! She comes with her own warning label: Loves to Hiss, but she just likes to make noise, that's all. She is an independent soul. Her motto is: You can look but don't touch. The right person will take the time and win her over! We know it can be done! Are you up for challenge??

All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, dewormed, UTD on age appropriate vaccines & started on Flea Preventatives. Cats are tested for FIV/FELK. Dogs over 6 months are tested for heartworms and started on HW prevention.

Open hours are 12PM - 4PM Tuesday -Friday and 12PM-3PM on Saturdays or by appointment.

We suggest calling prior to visiting our adoption center to ensure the animal you wish to meet is here at our Center (some are in foster care) and still available. If you want to meet an animal that is being fostered an approved application & appointment is required.

We will call or email you the status of your application once it is processed. Nothing will be processed on Sundays or Mondays.

All our pets are posted online and we continue to take applications until they are actually adopted. Sometimes things change and an adoption may fall through so we maintain a wait list.

Additional adoption info

We do an adoption application process for all adoptions. All of our pets are de-wormed, UTD on vaccines, spayed/neutered, on flea/tick prevention and microchipped. Dogs are on heartworm prevention.
