My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This very special orange tabby is Comet, a very gentle and well behaved little boy who was born January 14, 2023. Comet was found dining at one of HUGs feeding stations. Our HUG volunteer knew immediately that this young fellow was once someone’s pet. But Comet was not sharing his secrets with us. What we do know is that Comet is a very, very sweet cat who doesn’t require a lot of attention aside from the occasional cuddle and belly rub—Comet is very independent and enjoys and plays in his own space. Of course, shared play time with his new mom or dad would probably be very welcome. Comet would make a great only cat with an adult or two in a calm home. Comet just loves to sit on a window sill and hang out for hours. If you live in Nassau, Suffolk or Queens Counties and want to adopt an independent and gentle little boy who will give you unconditional love, please complete HUG’s online application at http://humaneurbangroup.org/adoption-application and HUG will get back to you in two flicks of a cat’s tail. You will be so glad you did.
