My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Mr. Tom Tom and I am a handsome, 2 year old grey tabby cat with beautiful tuxedo white chest and a round stocky body that is just that more to love on.  I am a loving boy that keeps to myself and away from the dogs that kind are not my cup oh tea.  Oh I can coexist but I don’t intend to be their close friend.  I was found as a stray and a kind woman brought me to a vet for full medical exam and a neuter.   They found out that I was FIV+ and for some reason it scared the lady.  I am totally healthy and harmless and not a fighter at all with any other cats.  I am living a great life with other FIV+  cats and just fine as can be.  I love to hang out on my cat tree or in a large crate that is like my “catman cave”.  I weigh about 15 pounds they say…maybe a little more.  I am just wanting someone that doesn’t think I am a danger to any other animals because I am not.  I have not been sick at all and you would never know I had FIV if I lived with you.  Please consider giving me a home.  I will love you to the moon and back forever.   Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com

PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.

More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Companion Rescue give them a chance to have a life?
