If so….you MUST meet Pixie.

Pixie is an 8-10 year old 3.5 pound long hair Chihuahua. DO NOT let her age fool you. (Especially since a chihuahua her size can live well into their late teens!) She is a little firecracker that loves to do zoomies, will defend her pack with adorable little postures and barks like WHO she thinks SHE is. She is a teeny teeny Chihuahua - perhaps the teeniest of all - but she is big on personality. She is a bit shy at first but when she warms up she is an absolute blast. For a small chihuahua she is VERY well house trained. Pixie does great in a crate and knows how to use a doggy door. She is good with other dogs and would love to make a perfect companion. She is not an overly clingy chihuahua that needs to be on your lap all day (as you can see in her pics she loves a nice dog bed) but enjoys being in the middle of her human and doggie pack! She truly acts like a “real dog” just in a very teeny body! Pixie had a dental and bloodwork at her recent vet visit!

We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting.
We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and the perfect forever home for our dogs. We appreciate you working with us.

Our adoption fee is $550. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses.

All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
