Zoey is a sweet 11-lb. Chug (a Chihuahua/Pug mix) who is in need of her forever home. She's a senior girl, but you would never guess it from the energy she has... her foster mom takes her for 1-mile long walks most days, and Zoey leads the way!
In her foster home Zoey coexists well with her canine 'brother'. She would do well in almost any family, either with another dog or as an 'only dog', as long as she has human companionship during the day.
Zoey is well housetrained and her foster mom takes her out on a regular schedule to 'potty'. She currently sleeps with her foster mom, and we're sure she would enjoy continuing to share her new guardian's 'big bed'.
Zoey is a very healthy little girl and has been spayed, microchipped, has received a dental cleaning and bloodwork. She is current on her Distemper/Parvo and Rabies vaccinations, and tested negative for heartworms. She is on Heartgard Plus for Heartworm prevention and Nexgard for flea and tick prevention.
Zoey's adoption fee is $250.00

Forever Home Canine Rescue offers a three-week trial period with all of our adoptions, just to be sure that the pet is a good match for the adopting family. The fee is refunded if the adoption does not work out within the trial period. We want to be sure that each of our pets will have their perfect 'forever' home!
Although Forever Home Canine Rescue adopts out-of-state, we never ship or transport our pets. An approved adopter must come to North Carolina to meet their new canine companion and then take him/her back home with them.
