Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Honey is a sweet, 8-year-old girl who was found at an auto glass repair shop in West Houston. We were contacted by the shop to help this sweet girl. We thought at first, she may have been hit by a car due to a limp. However, after some x-rays and a visit to the vet, it looks like she just has some arthritis. She’s improving with a monthly Librela injection and isn’t letting her mobility get in her way!!!
Honey weighs around 42 pounds. She could still lose a little and this will further help her mobility. She also had two “cherry eyes” which have been fixed.
She loves to cuddle up to her foster mom and gets along with all the other dogs in the home. She’s house and kennel trained and is a joy. She’d do ok with other dogs, cats, and even small children. She’d also love to be an only dog to just lay next to you and enjoy your company.
Honey is ready to meet her new family and enjoy many, many years love belly rubs and kisses.

Go meet their pets
Check our website at www.HoustonBeagleRescue.org for info. We typically have meet & greet events on the second Sunday of each month, from noon to 3:00 p.m. and will always bring several of the rescued beagles to that event, so look up the location of the month on our website, and come meet some adorable beagles! We also periodically hold special activities, and occasionally attend Houston-area adoption events which will be listed on our "events" section of our website. Our quarterly newsletter is published on our website at www.HoustonBeagleRescue.org
