My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Miley’s Story

  • Rescued in her toughest moments: As a kitten, Miley was found starving and dehydrated with no mother in sight. She has come a long way since then, turning into a healthy, vibrant kitty.
  • Shy at first, affectionate with time: Miley might take a moment to warm up, but once she does, she’ll snuggle with you on the couch and show you her loving personality.

Miley’s Personality

  • Playful & Independent: Loves toys and finds ways to amuse herself.
  • Evening Mischief Maker: Expect a playful burst of energy during the evenings.
  • Cuddle Bug: She’ll happily curl up beside you for a cozy couch session.
  • Loves Small Dogs & Friendly Cats: However, Miley would prefer to be the only kitty in the home to shine on her own.
  • Quiet Home Companion: Best suited for a peaceful environment without young children.

Miley’s Health

  • Fully Vetted: Spayed, chipped, up-to-date on shots, monthly flea treatment, and dewormed.
  • Litter Box Trained: 100% reliable and neat.
  • Healthy Diet: Enjoys Crave dry food, Fancy Feast wet food, and drinks plenty of water.

To Do All We Can to Aid in the Rescue, Safety and Welfare of Stray and Abandoned Animals to end as much suffering as possible.

We realize we cannot save the world … but we can try by working with each rescued animal on an individual basis.

Go meet their pets

Because we are not a shelter, do not have a boarding facility, and are not connected with any other agency, we always welcome foster homes where animals can stay temporarily. We also welcome all tax-deductible donations from individuals or foundations.
No donation is too small.

More about this rescue

A Welcome Home Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit created to help the homeless, hurt and/or abandoned animals. Our end goal is to place each animal in a permanent, loving home where all their needs will be met. We believe every animal deserves humane treatment. We believe in our role as caretakers, protecting those who cannot defend themselves, speaking for those who cannot speak for themselves.
