This helps Gainesville Rabbit Rescue with pet care costs.
This little, happy, bouncy brown-eyed boy J.T. (James Todd) is about 1-1.5 years old and weighs 5 pounds. He spent his 1st year living on someone's outside, open-air second floor balcony, mostly neglected of food and touch, then 'set loose' in an apartment parking lot. He was found 2/1/24 very malnourished while hiding under a car. He has since adjusted to living in a climate-controlled home with doting attention morning and night, lots of nourishment, and toys. He is back to his healthy weight, neutered, vaccinated, and his only anxieties are wondering how long he has to wait until he gets more cuddles and finds his fur-ever home.
J.T. exemplifies how a happy, hoppy bunny acts! Every morning and evening he uses his foster humans like a playground hopping on their lap to smell ears, hair, and higher areas, although like most rabbits, he dislikes being picked up. He loves his pellets and hay and hits the litter box 99% of the time. He likes to hop to higher objects, flop in the early afternoon, and get rubs all over his head and cheeks.
