My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Winnie (the Pooh) - A sweet, petite girl with a forceful meow (and she isn't afraid to use it)!

Winnie is the smallest of her four siblings and the only female, but she definitely makes her presence known ('I am woman hear me roar')! Her mom Tilly was found in a hallway of an apartment building where she gave birth to five sweet, healthy babies! An inauspicious beginning to be sure, but that's when her luck changed! A neighbor alerted FFF who found her a foster home where she could safely nurse, nurture and raise her babies and where her kittens could grow up strong, healthy and curious with their own little unique personalities, and Winnie is no exception!

This tiger striped, white faced little girl has the heart of a tiger and the determination to forge her own path. She's independent, curious, playful, spirited and loves to chase and spar with her siblings, climb as high as she can, jump to catch wand toys and run in and out of the kitty tunnel.

Winnie doesn't mind some pets and a little cuddling and attention, but her meow will most emphatically alert you that she's ready to move on to new adventures!

Winnie would be fine with gentle children as long as they let her come and go as she pleases, checking out her surrounding, finding cool toys to play with and soft spots to take a well deserved nap! As a young kitten, she'll need an active playmate, possibly one of her brothers (Yogi, Fozzie, Baloo or Bobo), or a resident kitty in her new home.

Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines. We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion!

Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent. We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age. We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
