My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Entra is a sweet and sensitive pup that loves the company of other dogs and people. She has been a rockstar at puppy yoga and adoption events. She’s even done well with meeting young children. She was once a bit intimated by older children that wanted desperately to pet her. She dodged their attention. She does warm up quickly and completely.

She loves spending time outside with sticks and toys. She will be an active dog, so yard play and/or walks will be beneficial for her. She will need leash training. A yard with a sandbox would be a dream come true because boo loves to dig.

She does tend to get car sick right now, so for now she’d love to be a home body.

She has been in a foster home since 8/31 and has make great strides in her potty training, but it’s still a work in progress. She's so close to getting it.

She’s very treat/food motivated which will make her easier to train but also makes her counter curious.

Entra is about 6 months old as of mid-October and about 30lbs. We expect her to stay under about 40lbs, but that’s just a guess.

All adoptions require an approved application. The approval process includes but is not limited to reference checks, housing verification which may include home visits, personal ID verification, and veterinary references. Once this process is complete adopter must agree to and sign our adoption agreement contract insuring the best interest and care of the animal will always be priority. Every adoption is a case by case basis to ensure we match each dog with the most compatible home for its needs.
Our fees are determined by an average cost of care to transport, provide medical care, feed, and supply needed items and services to each of our rescue animals.
Our adoption fees range from $205 to $415 based on the age of the animal.

L.O.L.A.'S Rescue is a foster based, 501c3, non-profit, PACFA Licensed, no-kill rescue. We specialize in the rescue and rehabilitation mostly of large and giant breed dogs.

It is our hope to save as many adoptable dogs as possible from uncertain futures, and find them forever, loving homes. Our dogs come from all situations, from families that can no longer keep them, strays, to shelter dogs that are on the euthanasia lists at high kill shelters around the country.

Our rescue is run solely on the help from our dedicated fosters, volunteers, and donations. We are always searching for new amazing fosters and volunteers to help us expand our mission and do even more amazing life saving work in the future.
