Meet Ranger Boy, a handsome hound mix with big, brown, soulful eyes and a pink and black nose. At 5 years old, Ranger Boy is a traveled boy that has seen a little of the world. He is a 65 pound snuggler that is convinced that he might just be a lap dog. He is fond of treats and knows sit. He also likes to go for walks and let his nose lead the way. Meet and greets with other dogs can be done for potential friends. If you are interested in Ranger Boy , please complete an adoption application at ITVrescue.org.

All of our dogs are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated, if necessary.

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.
