My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Azael is a stunning 8-year-old black cat with 13 lbs of sleek onyx fur. This handsome boy has been socialized with kids and is ready to find his forever home. Azael prefers to be the only furbaby in the house, as he loves to soak up all the attention for himself. He was surrendered already front declawed, making him a unique and special companion.

If you’re looking for a loyal and affectionate feline friend who wants to be the center of your world, Azael is the perfect match. Apply to adopt Azael today at ITVrescue.org!

All of our cats are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered.

More about this shelter

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.
