My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

George is a sweet, young Sato. A “Sato dog” refers to the small to medium-sized stray dogs in Puerto Rico. Island dogs are smart, loving, highly trainable, and make devoted companions.

George loves to play with toys and play games. He is very quick with training and aims to please. George loves people and is very loyal. He doesn’t like to be alone and would need to build work on that. He has select doggie friends, he has learned to be neutral around lost dogs and easily ignores them when he is with his person. George is okay with household cats and can ignore them. (He does have a chase instinct). He would do better with kids 8+ as he continues to learn, but he does well with all kids. George loves to nap and snuggle too!

More about this rescue

Paradise Rescue was established to address the pressing issue of stray animals in Puerto Rico, particularly in the northeast region. Recognizing that rescue efforts are more effective with a support network, we founded this organization to share our experiences and engage individuals interested in contributing through donations, fostering, or adoption. Over the years, we've accumulated an impressive portfolio of rescue success stories and assembled a dedicated team committed to improving the lives of our beloved "satos."
