Duchess and her newborn family of six kittens were discovered under an old truck by a very kind woman who moved them out of the elements and got them into Rescue House foster care. Duchess was able to raise her little ones in love and safety and with no lack of food! Now that her kittens are independent of her, she's looking forward to forging a forever connection with a human to call her own.
Duchess is such a sweet and dear kitty. She cared for her babies with delicate attention. She has a calm personality and just loves to have company... Duchess likes everyone: new people, familiar people, respectful kids, other cats, and even dogs! She loves to stay close to you and she loves to be held. She will meow for you to pick her up, please? When Duchess wasn't busy caring for her kittens in foster care, she enjoyed interactive wands, mouse toys, and laser lights... but she also just likes to hang out and chill. She is up for anything anytime. Duchess will make anyone the best companion!
Duchess delights in having company, and we think she would be happiest in a home where some sort of companion is always around and she is not left by herself. Thankfully, she gets along with everyone she's ever met!
