REGGIE is a dapper little man looking for a forever home. Reggie is a calm cat that is happy spending his days chilling in a room near his humans. He greets you with excited tail wiggles when you approach and loves to have his head stroked. Reggie will hop into your lap for attention frequently, but usually prefers to be by your side.
When he’s ready to play, he will chirp at you and his toys. His favorite is a felt teaser to chase around. When Reggie gets really excited, he likes to hop in the air like a springbok. We believe Reggie would be okay with other cats, with a proper slow introduction. His original family kicked him out when they found out he was FIV positive.
FIV, or feline immunodeficiency virus, is primarily transmitted through deep bite wounds from infected cats during aggressive fights, not cuddly playtime. It's cat-specific and can't spread to other species, including humans. FIV-positive and negative cats can happily coexist indoors as long as they're spayed/neutered.
