Meet Leyla!

Leyla is the sweetest girl. She is such a family dog that wants nothing more than to love and be loved. She enjoys her family time and focused attention with us, but also can have alone time for relaxation. She really likes to cuddle and get love, living with kids crawling all over her. She is a happy go lucky dog that is low maintenance. She is a quick learner who is potty trained, enjoys car rides, crate trained, leash trained, muzzle trained, plays fetch, knows “sit”, “down”, “leave it”, and “stay”. She is not a barky dog, but will alert if needed. She enjoys meeting new people and children having lived with our 3 young boys. Leyla is the sweetest, most loving, affectionate dog with humans, following you around the house, putting her head on your lap, or just laying beside you as you work or relax.

Leyla is extremely human friendly to men, women, seniors, the disabled, and children. She is not shy or nervous at all around humans. However, she must be the only pet in the home and is perfect for an adopter looking for a best friend in a single pet household.

She is a true inspiration being a “tripawd.”  She’s so happy and excited to play and doesn’t let it hold her back one bit. Her determination is remarkable, sometimes I wonder if she even realizes she only has three legs. Having a dog like this is a daily reminder of true resilience and perseverance, she is a champion. She is such a gem, and anyone who meets her falls in love with her!

More about this rescue

The A.R.W.O.B. group is based in San Diego, CA and operates mostly in Mexico as well as Southern California and will come to the aid of any animal in need which crosses our path. Our belief is to do what we can in order to “Make a difference in their lives.” From experience we have observed and feel the companion animals of Mexico are in the greatest need and accordingly we focus much of our efforts in Baja, Mexico. However, we certainly extend our help to our north of the border critters by accepting relinquished family pets, exiting both dogs and cats from the shelters of San Diego and of course by working in conjunction with other animal rescue groups in the community

Visit our website www.ARWOB.org to learn more about us.
